CyberLibrary.US™ is the interactive website at Nova Eisenhower Elementary School ("NEESMC"), located in Davie, Florida. Through this website, which is maintained by Cynthia Zimmerman, Library Media Specialist at NEESMC, communication between teachers, students, parents will document class and school activities throughout the school year.

The news is buzzing throughout our school! We are the winners of a $100,000 Target grant that will be used to improve our school. A special thanks to Dara Collins, PTA member, and others who wrote to Target to receive this amazing award!

Pumpkin Book Character

Nova students exceeded all expectations by sharing their creative pumpkins decorated as a favorite book character. Be sure to check out our picture gallery to see their wonderful creations. The top 20 pumpkins, as determined through a vote by all students in the school, earned the creator a coupon for a free pizza. Congratulations to all who participated.

Barnes and Nobles Family Night

Don't miss a great night at our Barnes and Nobles Bookfair on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Located at 591 S. University Drive, Plantation, Fl, the event will feature presentations of fractured fairy tales by our young authors and reader's theatre as well as face painting, crafts and a costume contest. Of course, the biggest feature is that any books that are purchased support our school! See you there!

Welcome back to school for the 2011/2012 school year! Get ready to share your summer reading and enjoy new reads at school. Students will be visiting the media center with their class every 6 school days to get new books to read. Don't forget to use Destiny Quest to obtain Accelerated Reader levels and to see which books are available. Read Across Broward forms can be printed under our Reading Programs section in the left hand column on this webpage. Have a great school year!
